I'm a jack of many skills, in infinite pursuit of mastery over a few.
And this pursuit, is life.

While I’ve held jobs titled Front-End Engineer and Product Manager at 0-1-beyond startups,
I'm essentially an "entrepreneurial generalist", as per this widely-cited document chronicling my meandering career.

Now, after a fulfilling journey exploring my plethora of interests, I'm doubling down on the ones that invigorate me. One of them is writing. It's something I've enjoyed doing since I was ~12 years old. And getting back to it here feels like I'm falling in love all over again.

When I write, I find myself in a state of flow— swimming around my mind, searching for words to give form to my thoughts and feelings. The waters are choppy, but the foliage under it is lush. And I trust that my writings here will progressively do justice to the art.

Kendrick vs Drake (Update)

Since my last post, boy has a lot happened! After Kendrick dropped euphoria, it was Drake’s turn to respond. But 3 days later, Kendrick dropped again with 6:16 in LA on Instagram. This was unexpected, and the internet began mounting pressure on Drake. A few hours later, Drake finally responded by releasing Family Matters where he threw a slew of insults and accusations against Kendrick’s family. But within just ~30 minutes of Drake’s release, Kendrick dropped once again with Meet The Grahams which features him addressing each of Drake’s family members directly, including an unverified “hidden daughter”....

Rappers Drake and J. Cole recently teamed up on First Person Shooter where they attempted to position themselves as the rap game’s #1 emcees. This elicited a response from Kendrick Lamar on Like That, a Future + Metro Boomin record K.Dot guested on. The record shot to #1 on the charts and shook up the rap game. J. Cole was first to respond, with 7 Minute Drill on a mixtape titled Might Delete Later....

Building Momentum

I was 18 when I first fell in love with programming. It was the summer of 2012, and I had teamed up with a couple of my 1st-year-engineering classmates to build an app for a friend’s nightlife business. The app would allow users to discover parties and browse their photographs. But over the summer holidays, when we were to get working on it, our lead programmer went AWOL and I was suddenly left with no option but to build the app myself....
